XNC 8148 - Exploring Ways to Adapt Leadership Styles Amid Healthcare Chaos, Challenges and Conflict
Healthcare leaders are one of the most forgotten groups in today's constantly challenging environment and yet, as a leader you must continue to stay motivated, help pursue productive change and support the needs of many others. This course explores the concept of healthcare leadership amongst rapid staff and patient turnover, reimbursement changes, and lack of time. Whether you are in a formal or informal leadership role this course is designed to help you identify and use adaptive leadership styles and tools on an as needed basis. You will be introduced to new thoughts about everyday leadership challenges in a creative and energizing setting that will enhance your ability to cope with today's healthcare environment. RNs, LPNs, APRNs, social workers, LPCs, LCPCs and registered dieticians will earn 3 contact hours. ACHAs will earn 3 (A). PTs and OTs will earn 2.75 contact hours.

1. Discuss the concept of applying leadership theories to healthcare leadership practice. 2. Identify opportunities to apply a more adaptive leadership style in current roles and areas of practice. 3.
